Dear MagnUM Ultimate and friends -

There's no snow on the ground, temperatures are in the 50s, and final exams are a couple weeks away. But forget about that for a second, because we're in the midst of the Holiday season - Christmas is less than 30 days away! That calls for celebration, which is why this Saturday (the 2nd) the MagnUM guys will be hosting a Christmas Celebration Spectacular at Jon Western's house on 426 Cross St. People of all shapes, sizes, ages, and genders are encouraged to come. Just make sure you're wearing one of those Christmas sweaters your grandmother gave you back in middle school (serious, the zanier the better). Extra points to those bearing 3D prints. There will be Christmas decorations, Christmas songs, singing of Christmas songs (read: "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays"), spiked cider, and enough Christmas cheer to help you forget about school for a night, and to tide you over until the 25th. This of course is merely in addition to the standard mayhem - including drinking, dancing your face off, and maybe getting some action under the mistletoe. Not to mention the annual MagnUM Rookie Disc-Drinking Race, which commences at 9:30 sharp. You don't want to miss it.

MagnUM guys: Meet at the house at 7:00, as official business will begin shortly after. The coaches will likely give a speech and then announce the Rookie Award, among other things. Be there.

Everyone else: Festivities begin at 9:00, and the rookies drink discs full of beer without their hands at 9:30. It's definitely reason enough to arrive early, but if not show up whenever. We'll be rocking around the Christmas tree all through the night.

So mark-off this Saturday on your calendars. Get your studying done in the morning, TiVo the Flavor of Love, and cancel dinner at home with your parents - they don't like you anyways. Then, bring your Christmas sweater and spirit to 426 Cross St. (off Packard, in-between Division and Hill). Your Holidays wouldn't be the same otherwise.

Feel free to forward this email to your friends and family.

Christmas Cheers.
